With their first album Duality guitarists Julien Tassin and Patrick Steenaerts redefine the guitar duo formula in an original way.
There is no question here of comping each other and putting one or the other soloist in the spotlight. Instead, the musicians go for collective improvisation to become one. Influenced as much by classical music as by jazz and experimental music, the two musicians lead us along melodic and lyrical paths which, in the space of a moment, can switch to rocky or atonal paths. A duality that is the intrinsic character of this band.
The guitars mix, clash and overlap to create a mysterious, unexpected, exciting and filmic music.
